Wait... I have to be a Grown Up now??
In 6 hours, I'm flying down to Atlanta, GA, for a week-long training for work at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and then I'll be back up in NYC to work from HQ, where I'll be working full time for who knows how long... (but, I'm *very* excited to be working for PwC after interning with them last summer!)

Alas... my extreme fun-filled summer has officially come to a close. But it's been intense and amazing and I don't think I could've wished for anything better - I visited awesome places, hung out with great old friends and met some fantastic new ones, and had volumes' worth of experiences and memories (well... some of them can't qualify as memories per se :D)!

Now it's time for this puppy to take his first steps into becoming a big important business-dog!


"Hmmm... Dom Perignon? Sure, put it on my corporate tab!"

Hehe... I dunno 'bout bringin' JD down for this trip. I'm gonna be pretty packed with company stuff that carrying such a large bag will be sure to turn eyes. Not something a fresh newbie (kinda) should be doing right off the bat. ;)

I'll see about hangin' out though :) I'm not sure what the evening schedules will be :)

Usually the big firms are into you bonding with your co-participants and jam up your spare time. Not to mention horrific assignments. At least in my experience but then maybe times are more humane.

My marks were not good enough to secure an interview with the "Big Six" accounting firms (let alone, a position!). Too much time wasted on the Internet back in my university days. It killed my marks in Intermediate Financial Accounting. ;P

Anyways, I know how gruelling the work assignments are at those Big Four accounting firms! Very intense training of staff going out for their accounting designation, weekend studying assignments, and late-night stints at the office (or at the client).

But JD Puppy's going to experience the "thrills" of being a young, aspiring CPA student-in-accounts. *Grin!*

I feel like JD Puppy is growing up right before our eyes! *sniffle* It's so cute! :D

(I still can't believe I had stumbled across a fellow accounting fur, and that totally adore dressing up in costume and becoming "in-character". To think you're making your way into the big corporate entity known as PriceWaterhouseCoopers! Fantastic!)

Good luck with your week-long training in Atlanta. I'm sure you're going to be a pretty busy puppy by the time you return back to the New York office to work on BIG corporate audit jobs and such! :>
