Theome's visit and Hi-4 down at the South Street Seaport!
Ballroom competition went well - its own post to come soon :)
theome is visiting NYC to hang out with jimwolf24 and myself, and while his trip's only half over, plenty of things have happened already!
He met up with us on Friday and then we trekked tostoneliongrowl's, catmandux's, and freakylynx's place to celebrate Jimmy Wolf's 30th birthday with some Brawl, Derrick Comedy, pizza, drinks, and cupcakes with alcoholic icing! rjwolf and plastiger were there as well to join in the festiviites. Saturday was a very lazy day until Theome and I went down into the city to go to a Richard Cheese concert in the village.
Sunday was a packed and looong day, as we woke up early in the morning (6 AM on a Sunday, WOOO!) to head down to the South Street Seaport for the Walk Now For Autism event for Autism Speaks. I managed to convince Theome to step in costume - so we stuck him in Fooey, and he had a great time, and definitely put on a fantastic show in suit, as always! While our appearance time got abbreviated due to some logistical complications, we had a blast, and here's some video and photo footage of the event:

Following that, in a strange combiation of things to do for the day, we went to the Folsom East street fair and hung out there for a while. Met quite a few people and saw quite a few interesting sights!
And that's pretty much been the trip so far! The rest of the trip is pretty play by ear, so it may just be relaxing and getting psyched for AC in a few days. I'm getting there Wednesday night, so I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there!
