Ballroom-Comp-Crud
Hey all!

Latin and ballroom dance competition was plenty fun! I even came home with a few ribbons! =) Here's me doing a couple dances with my partner, a new one for the semester (yay for two-weeks' practice together getting us to the finals! =D). I haven't had a steady partner for any given dance for longer than a semester since the one I mainly danced with injured her knee through over-working it to the extent where doctors advised her not to dance anymore. =( But she's been doing well - going off and doing her own little thing in fashion, which is really cool, since I got to see a line of hers in a fashion show on campus! =)

Anyway - here are just a couple of the dances! =D

But sadly, it was snowy and rainy and cold the night we travelled down to Philly and when we came back it was similarly brisk. To my fears, I ended up getting sick on Sunday, and I have been ill ever since. Yessir - I got *Comp*-Crud! I'm guessing it's the flu (ICK!), 'cuz for the good part of Sunday and Monday, I really couldn't do much, fever, aches, sore throat, the whole 9 yards save for nausea (Thank God!) and yesterday and today I had to force myself out of bed to get around to the necessities.

So much for getting commission work done! =( To all that have requested in the past couple weeks - I'm so sorry for the delay. I have a feeling that some of your pieces were time-sensitive, so I feel really bad for not having gotten around to them. I promise I'll work on them ASAP, but if you'd like to retract your request, just let me know, and we'll work it out! =)
